OPP reports 27 deaths on Ontario roads in June

The OPP is reporting 27 deaths on OPP-patrolled roads this month.

It says this is the result of 23 crashes between June 1 and 21.  There were double fatalities in four of the collisions and one crash resulted in two motorcycle riders being killed.  Two drivers were charged with impaired driving causing death in two other crashes.

The OPP is urging drivers to be especially cautious on Ontario roads, now that it’s summer.
