It’s the most money Smile Cookie Week has raised for the North Hastings Hospital Auxiliary.
The joint fundraiser with Tim Hortons has raised $19,012 for the hospital. This compares to just over $9,000 raised in 2019.
The Auxiliary hopes the Smile Cookie campaign and the $44, 595.00 raised during the Moose FM Radiothon in August will allow them to buy a new ECG heart monitoring machine and a trauma stretcher. They also plan on purchasing an i-STAT blood analyzer machine, which monitors enzyme levels in the blood of patients.
