The Remembrance Day ceremony in Bancroft will not be open to the public.
Due to COVID-19, Larry Shattraw, President of Legion Branch 181, says the event will be private again this year. The wreath-laying and procession will happen on November 11th from 10:30 AM until 11:30 AM. However, the public will be able to lay wreaths and pay respects before and after those times.
This is the second year in a row that the Bancroft Legion has held a private ceremony.
