With the green light given to the Bancroft Santa Claus Parade, the Town’s Lion’s Club is inviting people to enter a float for a parade.
Parade registration forms are now available at McMichael Jewelers, the Bancroft Times office and the Dairy Queen on Hastings Street North. Laverne Stapely with the Bancroft Lions Club says submission instructions are on the form, as well as what COVID-19 protocols need to be followed.
Stapely says while there are no guidelines for the floats, there will be guidelines for people on the floats themselves. He is also asking people to not throw candy on the streets this year, rather having people walk alongside the floats and pass them out for the children’s safety
