A regional science fair has decided to go online again this year.
The Quinte Regional Science and Technology Fair has announced they will be holding the event online from April 1st until the 3rd of 2022. The online fair is open to all students from grades 4 to 12 in Hastings and Prince Edward Counties. Organizers say that they are sticking with the online option due to the uncertainty of the pandemic and how well received the fair was last year.
The Fair has had some local winners in the past. Last year Ares Worsley of Bird’s Creek Public School was awarded Best in Grade 4 across the region for his Free Fall Balloon project. Worsley charted how quickly balloons of different sizes fell and how their size affected their fall.
