One of the biggest events in Bancroft is set to go ahead after nearly two years on hiatus.
The Lincoln Electric Rally of the Tall Pines is set to hold its 50th event from November 19th to the 20th. The event will see 30 teams from across the country and parts of the United States come to Bancroft to compete.
However, organizer Bruce Leonard says that at the request of the Town of Bancroft and health officials, no spectators will be allowed this year. Despite that, he says he and the team of volunteers are feeling good and the event is coming together.
While there are no spectators allowed, Leonard says that social media will be updated constantly throughout the day. People can also access the CNDRally tracking app that will track each car’s progress through the race.
