After almost half a year of the advisory in place, you can finally drink the water at the Mew Lake Campground in Algonquin Park.
The boil water advisory for the campground has been completely lifted after it was partially lifted last week. Water no longer needs to be brought to a rolling boil before being consumed at the campsite. Park staff says this is due to recent upgrades to their water filter systems.
The Mew Lake Campground has been under a boil water advisory since June of this year. It is the last advisory in place for Algonquin Park.
