Moose FM raising money for Bancroft and Area Kids in Need

We’re lending a hand this year to help Bancroft Area Kids in Need.

Kids in Need is looking for toy donations for families struggling over the holiday season. Julie Wiltshire, a board member for the Bancroft chapter, says the need has increased this year. So far, 220 families have registered for toys, up from 185 that were registered last year.

Wiltshire says not only toy requests are up: Earlier this year, they gave out 180 snowsuits for kids, something they need money to do. Wiltshire says they are only able to do this because the Bancroft and Area community is incredible at helping out families.

Moose FM will be on location at the Santa Claus Parade in front of the Dairy Queen from 9 AM until 5 PM. Toys can be dropped off at our location or through various toy depots around town, including Century 21, Scotiabank, Kawartha Credit Union, Boyers and the Bancroft OPP office.

To donate cash online, you can E-transfer using the email address [email protected]. In addition, you can search for Bancroft Kids in Need at CanadaHelps.org.
