Families registered with the Compass Early Learning Centre in Apsley will get reduced fees in 2022.
The City of Peterborough is providing financial support for children under the age of 4. The program will cut fees in half starting January 1st. The move follows a similar program in 2018 that successfully saw a boost in access to childcare in Buckhorn, Ontario. The city wants to support local children while creating more opportunities for parents to seek employment.
Compass Early Learning Centre is a not-for-profit childcare service and is the sole childcare provider in Apsley. They provide services to children up to age 12.
