Some residents of Bancroft may not have water for most of Tuesday.
Public Works Manager Perry Kelly says broken water main repairs will take “a good portion of the day”. Work crews are on location just off of Millenium Park as of writing. Drivers in that location are asked to yield to oncoming traffic while travelling on Hastings Street North. Work crews from both the Town of Bancroft and water company Veolia are on the scene.
As well as the traffic issues, a number of streets will have their water supply affected because of the break. This includes Hastings Street North of Millenium Park, Airport Road, Van Luven Lane, Nicolas Drive, Waterhouse Crescent, Airview Drive and Granite Ridge.
