Bancroft OPP officers have made a new discovery in an ongoing investigation into a Highlands East break-in and theft.
On December 30th, officers received a report of an abandoned ATV in the township of Faraday. After arriving at the ATV and investigating, they found that it was the same vehicle reported as stolen in a previous case.
The initial incident occurred in October, when a Highlands East resident reported that someone broke into their property and stole their ATV and a crossbow.Â
Police haven’t found the crossbow yet, and are still investigating the incident. Officers are asking anyone with any information to call the Bancroft detachment, or the OPP’s anonymous Crime Stoppers line.
