Another COVID-19 outbreak has occurred in North Hastings.
Hastings Prince Edward Public Health has listed the Hastings Centennial Manor on its list of active COVID-19 outbreaks. Currently, only two cases have been associated with the outbreak as of the last update from the Health Unit on January 5th.
Meanwhile, the outbreak at the North Hastings Community Centre has been declared over. A total of eight cases were reported as a result of the outbreak. However, the Town of Bancroft council and arena staff has extended the closure of the arena, and the Dungannon Recreation Centre, until January 26th to comply with new provincial restrictions.
As of Wednesday, there are currently 75 active cases of COVID-19 in North Hastings.
