The Playhouse in Bancroft has new management.
Effective immediately, the Tweed and Company Theatre will take on operating responsibilities for the Bancroft Village Playhouse. While St. Paul’s United Church will still own the Playhouse, Tweed & Company will take over managing the venue from Hospice North Hastings.
The Company says they will present a full season of musical theatre for the Playhouse, as well as summer camp programs, and will have opportunities for local youth to work with theatre professionals. They are also encouraging local artists to join their mailing list and connect with them to pitch proposals for the venue.
The full season lineup will be announced by the company on February 1st.
