The Liberal Party has chosen their candidate to take on MPP Daryl Kramp in Hastings-Lennox and Addington in the next provincial election.
The party announced Ted Darby will run as their candidate in this year’s election. Darby is a professor of health care administration at St. Lawrence College. He also has municipal government experience, having created fire plans and service reviews for several townships, including Wollaston, Limerick and Tudor & Cashel Townships. Ontario Liberal Leader Steven Del Duca says Darby’s knowledge of health policy will help strengthen the province’s health care and long-term care systems.
The next provincial election is scheduled for June, 2nd unless the Ford government calls an earlier election. Conservative MPP Daryl Kramp has served the riding since 2018.
