For the third week in a row, the Town of Bancroft is opening the doors of its warming centre.
As the week ahead sees daily highs hover around -10 celsius, the Town will keep the doors open at The North Hastings Community Centre. The site at 103 Newkirk Boulevard will now be open from January 24th until the 31st from 9 PM until 7 AM each day.
The site is run by the Town of Bancroft and is located in the upper level of the arena. Town staff add that beds and meals will not be provided, and COVID-19 screening is required before entering the centre.
