Be aware of logging trucks in Algonquin Park

Ontario Parks has advised people travelling through the Highway 60 corridor that they could see some trucks.

As part of logging operations in the park, logging trucks will be on the Openogo Lake Road. Operations are expected to occur every weekday in February. They warn park visitors that they may encounter logging trucks and will see lower speed limits. They are urging all park visitors and those travelling through the park to drive with caution.

Algonquin Park is the only provincial park in Ontario that allows logging.
