North Hastings Children Services is offering a new group, this time for adult males.
The Grounded Warrior’s Men’s Group is an Indigenous-based group that will help them form positive relationships with family and community. Both Indigenous and non-Indigenous men are invited to attend to help build healthy self-esteem and friendships, based on Medicine Wheel Teachings. It is put on by the Algonquin Inòdewiziwin program.
The next meeting will happen on February 23rd from 6 PM until 8 PM at 17 Snow Road Unit 4. A traditional dinner will be served and the Big Drum will be there for healing and support.
