The warming centre in Bancroft won’t be open this week, because staff says there is no need.
With temperatures not expected to reach the activation threshold of -10 celsius, the centre is expected to be closed until Sunday March 20th. On Monday, March 21st, a decision will be made on if the warming centre will be needed past that date.
The new warming centre is located on 21 Finch Avenue.
