Work may be starting soon at North Hastings High School.
In their latest meeting, the Hastings Prince Edward District School Board announced who will be revamping the school’s roof, windows and interior mechanical systems. Bancroft’s Beacon Construction Ltd will do the mechanical renewal and window replacement. The tender was worth nearly $2.3 million.
Meanwhile, Toronto’s Triumph Roofing Incorporated was awarded the contract to repair the high school’s roof for around $351,000. They were also contracted to replace the roof of Eastside Secondary School in Belleville.
Dafoe Roofing in Belleville also secured the tenders to replace the rooves of Birds Creek and York River Public Schools, for a combined total of $577,000.
