With the financial strain thanks to the pandemic, the North Hastings Arena Board is looking to the town for help.
The Board has requested $10,000 in funding to replace the roof of the North Hastings Community Centre. Chair George Eastman says the roof is leaking, and cannot be simply repaired anymore. They have received a quote from a roofing company saying the cost to replace the roof would be upwards of $38,000. With the loss of rental revenues over the past two years, the Board is asking the Town for its assistance.
Town Council will discuss the request at their next meeting.
