North Hastings Community Trust receives money from Resilient Communities Fund

The provincial government has given a local institution a financial boost.

North Hastings Community Trust has received part of a $158,000 grant from the COVID-19 Resilient Communities Fund. MPP Daryl Kramp says the funding will help offset the financial strains of their programs and services. Along with the Trust, Marmora and Area Curling Club, the Heart of Hastings Hospice and Tudor and Cashel Township received funding.

The Resilient Communities Fund doled out almost $96 million to over 1,100 charities across the province. The money is meant to fund support for staff, renovations to help the changing needs of the community, and adapt programs that needed to change due to health regulations.
