A mixed-media art display created by a Peterborough woman is spending a few weeks in our community, at A Place for the Arts (APFTA).
The Bancroft-based art gallery is hosting an exhibit called “Along the Trail” for the month of May, created by retired Trent University Professor Beth Popham.
Popham’s work is a mix of acrylic paintings and photography, with inspiration drawn from walks with her camera and outdoor painting sessions.
Gallery organizers say the exhibit is “a visual log of [Popham’s] journey back to art after a long teaching career.”
The exhibit is running from May 4th until May 29th.
