Public School, community group recipients of new sheds from Loyalist College Program

The latest round of sheds constructed by the SkilsAdvance Construction Career Launch program have been donated to the community.

Coe Hill Public School and North Hastings Community Trust have received the sheds built as part of the final project of the program. Lorie Bird, a board member of the Trust, listed their wood share program or using the shed at their new location as possible uses. Meanwhile, Principal of Coe Hill Public School Rob Lake says they will use their shed to store their outdoor program equipment.

Angela Harrison, Employment Consultant with Loyalist College, says the program has led to several students finding full time work on completion. She also thanked several businesses in the area for collaborating with the college on the program.
