Bancroft’s Cliffside Park is open for business again.
The park’s lookout, hawk watch, and accessible washrooms are now open to the public.
The Stewards of Eagle’s Nest Park have a few plans for the park this year. They want to recruit more student volunteers and create materials to help with that recruiting. Virginia deCarle will return for a second year to run the Nature Connects program. She was able to run six of the walks last year.
You may also notice some new additions this year. The stewards were able to add signage for plant identification, set up QR codes on park signage to encourage donations, and reopened the trails in September of last year.
