The Bancroft Detachment of the OPP is urging anyone with information on those responsible for an assault to come forward.
Police are investigating after they were called to a residence on Gaebel Road in the Town of Bancroft on May 18th. Police say they found an adult that had been assaulted with a weapon. The victim was transported to the hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
Police are on the lookout for three people that had entered the residence, assaulted the adult, and then fled on foot. Those with information on the incident are asked to contact OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or contact Crime Stoppers for anonymous tips.
