With another round of potentially damaging thunderstorms forecasted for this week, the Bancroft Fire Department wants people to be prepared.
Deputy Fire Cheif Matt Musclow says by preparing now, you can avoid panic, limit damage to your property, and even save lives in an emergency. He is urging people to prepare themselves by knowing the risks, making plans, and preparing a kit for the occasion.
Musclow adds that with storms forecasted this week people should be prepared for more fallen trees, power outages, and downed power lines. He says that the Hastings County Website is the best resource to help residents prepare for events.
