Three Town of Bancroft councillors have put their name in the running to retain their seats this fall.
Councillors Valerie Miles and Tracy and Barry McGibbon have registered to become candidates. Both McGibbons were elected in 2014, while Miles was elected to her post in 2018.
Paul Jenkins registered to run again as mayor. Michel Charron and Rachel Laforest have registered to run as French separate school board trustees, while Peter McEnery has registered to run as the English separate trustee.
Municipal elections are scheduled to take place on October 24th. Nominations close on August 19th. Election packages are available at the Bancroft Municipal Office.
