Eastern Ontario Regional Network appoints new CEO

The group tasked with improving cell coverage across the region has a new Chief Executive Officer.

Jason St. Pierre will be taking over the role of CEO of the Eastern Ontario Regional Network (ERON) on July 11th. He will be replacing David Fell, who left the organization earlier this year. St. Pierre has worked in many telecommunications jobs, including Bell Canada. EORN leadership says he has an array of experience including setting up broadband expansion projects in Northern Ontario.

ERON is currently working on their $300 million Cell Gap Project, which aims to improve cell phone connectivity for the vast majority of rural Ontario. The project is currently underway, and is expected to be completed in the next few years.
