A fundraiser in support of a local fish hatchery is drawing to a close.
The North Hastings Community Fish Hatchery is closing its online auction fundraiser on July 23rd. The Hatchery stocks local fish in the region’s lakes and offers education on how to maintain sustainable fisheries. As the group is entirely community-funded, this fundraiser helps them continue the work they do.
The Hatchery is once again partnering with Switzer’s Online Auction group, which has been hosting the event since 2020. To take part in the online auction, click here.
