Rockhound Gemboree kicks off after two-year hiatus

The largest gem show in Ontario has returned.

The Rockhound Gemboree will be held until Sunday, July 31st at the North Hastings Community Centre and the Bancroft Curling Club. Admission is $10 for a day pass for adults, and $5 for children aged 13-17. People have the option to buy multi-day passes, and children under 12 get in for free.

Along with the vendors, 16 speakers have been booked for the Gemboree. These include geologists, gemmologists, and prospectors. These will take place at the Bancroft Curling Club.

This is the first time since 2019 that the event has been held.
