If you’re looking for canoe or kayak trips in Algonquin Park, you may not have the water to do them.
Park staff have posted 21 low water advisories for waterways across the park. These include waterways like the Crow, Opeongo, Petawawa, Hollow, Galipo, Madawaska, York, Upper Nipissing and Tim Rivers. Several creeks are also listed.
Staff say that canoe routes may not be passable due to the water warnings. Visitors should look for alternative routes or expect delays in the area.
