It seems like the race to become Mayor of Bancroft got a bit crowded.
Scott Munro and Michael Anderson will take on incumbent Paul Jenkins for the seat. They were officially certified on Monday after the nomination period closed.
In addition, twelve candidates have put their names in for becoming councillors. Current council members Tracy and Barry McGibbon, Valarie Miles, Charles Mullet and Wayne Wiggins have put their names on the ballot. They will take on George Eastman, Mary Kavanagh, Curtis Sibley and Tanya Armstrong-Ace for the Bancroft Ward. Newcomers competing for the Dungannon Ward include Dale Anderson, Trevor Stevenson and Mike Van Roon.
Voting in the Town of Bancroft will take place from Monday, October 17th until Monday, October 24th.
