Health Unit expects school year will proceed with few issues

It’s a positive message from the local health unit, but there is still some caution.

Hastings Prince Edward Public Health says they anticipate the school year to start with minimal disruptions, adding many clubs and sports will take place this year. While students have been through a lot these last few years, in-school supports are available.

However, the Health Unit is still urging parents to screen for illness each school day, and keep kids home if they are sick. Those vaccinated kids should keep their records up to date or catch up if they are lagging behind.
