Property owners around Lake St. Peter will be chipping in to help the Maynooth Food Bank.
They are holding a food drive on Labour Day Weekend in partnership with West Pines Resort. The Association says they hope to share their member’s good fortune with others in the community. The event will take place on September 3rd and 4th.
Food can be dropped off at West Pines. Donations will also be accepted at the Association’s AGM on September 4th starting at 9 AM. Cheques and cash will also be accepted at the AGM.
Cheques should be made out to St. Paul’s United Church, and if mailed should go to Box 102 in Lake St. Peter. You can also e-transfer cash to [email protected]. If you include your mailing address, the Association says they can also mail you a charity receipt.
For those who wish to donate food, the Association suggests donating pasta, peanut butter, toiletries like toothpaste and shampoo, as well as canned meats, soup, fruit and vegetables. No baby items are needed at this time.
