A Newfoundland man faces a charge of possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking following a traffic stop in Belleville Monday.
The OPP’s Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau – Drug Enforcement Unit stopped the driver on Highway 401, near the Highway 62 overpass in Belleville July 6 around 4 p.m.
Police say roughly $100,000 in cocaine was found in the vehicle. The 37-year old male driver was arrested and charged. He was held for a bail hearing.
