It was a busy Labour Day Long weekend for the Central Hastings Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP). 94 calls for service were received that included the investigation of one sudden death, one assault, two thefts, three domestic disputes, three well-being checks, six motor vehicle collisions, seven requests for police assistance and 13 traffic complaints. Officers also conducted seven community service events and 17 R.I.D.E programs.
