A local man faces various driving-related charges following an attempted OPP traffic stop on Opeongo Road July 4.
The Killaloe OPP says officers tried to stop the vehicle, but it fled from police. A 65-year old North Algona Wilberforce man faces charges of: failing to stop for police, not wearing a helmet while riding an off-road vehicle, disobeying a stop sign and driving a motor vehicle with open liquor.
He’s due in Killaloe court Sept. 17.
