BANCROFT: A serious collision has closed part of Hwy. 28 East, just outside of Bancroft town limits. Traffic is being re-routed along the Belton Road loop.

The OPP is on site and say there’s no timeline yet on when the road might reopen.

Two heavily damaged cars can be seen in opposite ditches, just past the police barricade. An ambulance rushed to the scene earlier in the day.
