A 25-year-old from Oshawa is facing a drunk driving charge after being tested by police last Friday night.
Bancroft OPP laid the charge after stopping the driver on Mill Street at about 7 p.m.
The accused was released and given a court date in November.
It’s the only charge announced by local police following a weekend where they were patrolling roads heavily.
OPP were out over Thanksgiving, as part of Operation Impact. They were looking to stop distracted driving, aggressive driving, impaired driving and those not wearing seatbelts.
