Loyalist College Bancroft to host job fair

Job seekers in Bancroft, have a great opportunity.

Loyalist College is hosting a job fair at its campus at 195 Hastings Street North. The event runs from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 18. 

Representatives from a variety of industries will be on hand. That includes food services, retail, construction, automotive, health care and early childhood care businesses. 

One of the organizers, Sarah Pilgrim of Community Employment Services, says there’s been a noticeable shift in the labour market of late, with more employers needing to hire. So she expects employers at the event will be eager to meet candidates. She suggests job seekers come with their resumes handy.
