BREAKING NEWS: CUPE workers returning to job, Bill 28 rescinded

It looks like school will be back in session soon. Our national news team is reporting that CUPE has accepted an olive branch from the Ford government and will go back to work.
The union representing 55,000 education workers says they have received, in writing, word from the province that it is rescinding Bill 28 in its entirety and that the government is recognizing it was never legal legislation.
However, whether schools will reopen tomorrow will be up to individual school boards. We will be reaching out to school boards in our broadcast region to ask what their plans are.
We will have updates on air and at www.mybancroftnow.com as soon as possible.
