Hastings Highlands new mayor and councillors will be sworn in on Monday.
The municipality has announced that a ceremony will take place at 6:30 p.m. in the council chamber in Maynooth.
Due to limited capacity, only those invited can attend in person, however, anyone can view the proceedings on the Hastings Highlands YouTube channel.
The new term of council officially started on Nov. 15. Tony Fitzgerald, a former councillor, is now mayor, after winning a close race with fellow former councillor Dorothy Gerrow.

The council is made up of Joan Nieman, Nancy Matheson, Tracy Hagar, Roger Davis and Keith Buck.
The group’s first official council meeting will be on Monday, January 18th.
