A few weeks ago, we told you about a goose from Barry’s Bay that was living with an arrow through its body.
Tall Pines Wildlife Centre is reporting that a mission to capture the goose and remove the arrow was completed successfully last week.
The goose, which the centre has named Barry, is back with its flock.
Tall Pines has shared the story on its social media and is thanking volunteers, who helped find the goose and make a rescue plan.
Staff from the centre also say hey’ve heard some leads on who might be responsible for shooting the goose and have passed the information on to the Ministry of Natural Resources to investigate.
