Hastings Highlands survey will help Accessibility Plan

Hastings Highlands residents can help make their community a more accessible place.

The municipality, located in between Bancroft and Barry’s Bay, has launched a survey to gather information to support its 2023 to 2027 Accessibility Plan.

The survey asks questions designed to see if people experience barriers while trying to access facilities or services. It also asks if people experience barriers while receiving customer service or communications materials from the municipality.

Hastings Highlands is working on a new plan, as part of its commitment to meet the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act.

The survey is on the Hastings Highlands website and will be up until March 1st.
