A car crash startled people outside a busy Bancroft store Monday afternoon.
A vehicle collided with a beam by the front door to Shoppers Drug Mart, around 2 p.m.
Several people walking nearby comforted the driver until paramedics arrived.
An OPP officer, on scene, said it was a single-vehicle collision and the driver was not injured.
Although police tape has been put up around the heavily-damaged beam, the store is still open to customers and traffic in the area is moving smoothly again.
