The Art Gallery of Bancroft is putting the focus on great photography this month.
Its current exhibit is called Serendipitous Connections. It features work from a network of mostly local photographers, known as the f23 Photo Group.
Gallery Co-chair Molly Moldovan says the work is very imaginative and whimsical. She says, among art circles, there seems to be growing interest in using photography to create abstract art.
She adda that the photos are from eight photographers, who each have different styles. Some images were taken locally, but others are from abroad.Â
The Art Gallery of Bancroft is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursdays through Saturdays. This display will remain up until Feb. 25. There’s no charge to enter, but donations are welcome.
