A Palmer Rapids business that makes kayaking more accessible is in the spotlight.
Paddler Co-op is featured in a newly-released video by the Ontario Highlands Tourism Organization.
The roughly four-minute video shows how the business allows those with physical disabilities to experience the confidence building activity of kayaking. It also shows how the co-op is using the grant money to alter its amenities, to ensure they’re accessible for those on wheelchairs.
The video’s been released as part of an O.H.T.O. series that features businesses that have recently received grants from the federal government’s Tourism Relief Fund.
