The Centre Hastings OPP responded to a two-vehicle collision on Highway 62 in Tudor and Cashel recently.
It says near Stoney Settlement Road on Saturday evening, a southbound SUV crossed in to the northbound lane. It says this forced a van to drive off the road and roll in to the ditch while the SUV hit the guardrails. There were no injuries.
A driver of the SUV, a 25-year old Flinton man, was charged with: impaired driving, driving with more than 80 milligrams of alcohol in his blood and failing to remain. His licence was suspended for 90 days and his vehicle was impounded for seven days. He’s due in Belleville court Aug. 13.
