Bancroft OPP lay stolen vehicle, drug charges

A speeding stop in the Bancroft-area has led to the arrest of a Montreal man for being in possession of a stolen truck.

Bancroft OPP says the vehicle was pulled over at 10 a.m. Tuesday. An investigation then revealed it had been stolen from Toronto.

The driver, a 39-year-old, was charged with possession of property obtained by crime. He also faces an additional drug charge.

He was held in custody and his case is now before a Belleville court.
