The health clinic in Wilberforce will soon be a satellite for the Bancroft Family Health Team.
The decision was made in yesterday’s council meeting. The clinic will be run by a nurse practitioner two days a month, starting in September. They are also adding a new doctor to their team, and she is taking new patients. In yesterday’s meeting, councilors also agreed to support the health team’s application to expand their telemedicine services to Highlands East.
